FirmusFIXED: as strong as a bear!

In 2015, the Ouwehands zoo in Rhenen approached us with an impressive project. The bear enclosure was to get a spectacular entrance, giving the visitor a high-impact experience once behind the entrance doors in a gabion wall.
The gabions were custom-welded specially for this project and a Firmus employee helped to supervise the construction process.
The three and a half metre high, curved Galfan gabion wall is a real eye-catcher - appearing to embrace the visitor. This awakens curiosity: what is inside? What awaits you when you cross the threshold? This new experience awaits the public when the area is opened in late July.
